I could write a book about what has gone wrong dealing with Banque Laydernier. Starting with poor communication, telephones never being picked up, extreme delay; through lost documents, employees going on leave leaving no one responsible behind, appointments cancelled last moment or just ignored. And in the end you get just another poor online banking, with a rather cheap mobile app and a super expensive offer for services that are at most average quality. Yet you still find yourself charged with random fees and the price list is nowhere to be found. I add 1 star for a positive approach of our contact person and communication in English.
Such a bad bank, they only speak French ....pretty bad fo an international ski resort.... go back to school ,,,
This is probably the most incredible thing that happened to a me at this bank...being kicked out from Laydernier (Les Derniers !!) because I carry a US passport (sorry if I had the chance to see more than just the Valley and the lake of Geneva). Born and raised in Chamonix, third generation client at this bank, they , actually Credit du Nord, decided to close my account, pure discrimination by the way. Well the glorified teller (Bank Director as she calls herself) , proud descendant of a bunch of uneducated, entitled and overpaid puppets, announced the bad news to me during my last stay in town. I hold bank accounts in 3 other counties and Laydernier staff need to work on their customer service among other things..... ! Cannot wait for HSBC to buy you so someone can teach you how to run a bank !!! Bonne chance Madame machin and treat your staff members better as they look so miserable behind their desk .... US citizen visiting Chamonix Boycott this Bank !
